  • Early Learning Center Mission Statement:

“Connecting children and families to Christ the Rock and each other through quality care and Christian love. ‘My God is my rock in whom I take refuge’” (2 Samuel 22:3a).

God gives parents the primary responsibility for nurturing their children. An early childhood ministry supports parents in this responsibility by providing them a Christ-centered environment where their children can learn and grow. The Christian nurturing of young children and their families is a necessary aspect of the mission of the church.

Early childhood ministries provide both nurturing of families and their children within the congregations as well as reaching out to community families and children. With the number of people from the communities that are in need of early childhood, it’s a natural mission field. This provides an opportunity for St. Peter to connect with families in our communities that we may not otherwise have a connection with.
