Stepping Stones Early Learning Center, a vibrant part of the St. Peter Lutheran Church community, is dedicated to nurturing young minds in alignment with our faith-based mission. Our preschool is designed to integrate educational principles with spiritual guidance, fulfilling the call of Matthew 28:19-20: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Welcome to Stepping Stones Early Learning Center!

About Us:

Stepping Stones Early Learning Center is dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Our center offers a comprehensive program that includes:

  • Full-Time Care for Children Ages 6 Weeks to 5 Years: A structured educational experience 5 days a week, designed to foster early learning through play, exploration, and interaction.

  • Before and After School Program: Tailored for school-age children, offering engaging activities and support during the school year.

  • Summer Camp: Fun and educational activities from June through August for children up to 12 years old.

Our Approach:

Our program builds upon the strong foundation established by St. Peter Lutheran School, which has been serving the community for over a century. We focus on:

  • Christian Social Behaviors: Through daily activities and lessons, we teach children about Christ’s love and guide them in showing that love in their interactions.

  • A Well-Rounded Curriculum: Our daily schedule includes:

    • Play Time

    • Circle Time

    • Bible Lessons & Singing

    • Exercise Time

    • Alphabet Time

    • Outdoor Recess or Gym Games

    • Snack & Story Time

    • Lunchtime

    • Rest Time

    • Fun Units (e.g., shapes, colors, numbers, senses, food pyramid, animals, plants)

Our Philosophy:

While preschool is not required for kindergarten entry, it provides a valuable step in preparing your child for future learning. At Stepping Stones, we are committed to offering a high-quality Christian preschool experience. Enrollment in St. Peter Lutheran School is not a requirement after preschool; we are here to support families seeking a Christian educational foundation for their children.
